Tower Module is a department part of Vestas responsible for the research, design, and development of the wind turbines' tower products. Through innovation, development, and continuous product improvements, we continuously develop our products and technologies to reduce costs and ensure the integration of renewable energy.
Your tasks will be involved the dynamic analyses, requirement management, design risk assessment and creation of certification documentation for the towers. Your team consists of highly skilled engineers from diverse cultural backgrounds that work together to deliver towers to our customers.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities are as follows:
- Lead the feasibility and design activities for a portfolio of towers from concept to release
- Document all work and maintain the project portfolio for your area
- Prepare and communicate clearly and concisely to stakeholders the project status
- Design and review the structural components of the tower
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Wind, Renewables, Construction industry
- Minimum 4 years of experience with Eurocode and IEC Design Standards
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Ansys APDL/WB, parametric modelling, and scripting
- Intermediate level of proficiency with design failure mechanism associated with large steel structures
- Experience with the certification of components, particularly with DNV or DIBt
