Position Specific Description
Regional Manager II in the North Solar Region leads an operational team of engineers (engineers in their region perform 90% field work) and oversees the operations and maintenances of solar and storage sites. Overall, the Regional Manager II is responsible for overall production of solar and storage generation. As this is power generation operations, this is a 24/7 endeavor. Leaders in this position manage all aspects of business and operations while maintaining and injury free work force and achieving production and business targets. Leader ensures all business activities are conducted following corporate policies and are in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal permits, codes, standards, and regulations.
Leaders are expected to:
• Collaborate with peers, stake holders, central organizations support team, vendors, and OEMs for the furtherance of organizations goals.
• Ensures all safety, environmental, performance, and budget targets are met.
• Develop and grow the team/business.
• Oversees and approves procurement activities of the site.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Availability 24/7 for all team support and decision making for safety, environmental and productions risk.
- Support includes overall decision maker for the team's wellbeing, equipment reliability and site availability. This includes total team coordination for tactical execution of daily work scope definition, daily strategy definition, daily risk categorization and mitigation, daily risk analysis and approvals, procedure and policy review. Which includes:
• Ensure the team is working safely and following all safety policies.
• Identify and coordinate team priorities based on performances.
• Attend and lead team performance meetings. • Attend and participate in leader's meetings for resource allocation.
• Ensure work is being executed as planned by following up with direct reports multiple times a day.
• Identify and coordinate team priorities.
• Risk assessment reviews and approvals on an individual job basis.
• Organize and schedule maintenance outages.
• Organize and coordinate Force outage Outages - often after hours.
• Permit review and approval.

• Third party vendor coordination
- Determining need for third party bases on resources.
- Support scope definition for third party services.

- Fires and thermal events - unplanned and 24/7 availability needed.
- Site Feeder outages - unplanned and 24/7 availability needed.
• Provide regional on call support
- On weekend

- Provide same team support during the weekend.
• Available after hours and off normal hours for:
- Making decisions of work scope and risk involving the equipment and teammate safety
- Risk assessment review and approvals
- Coordination of third party
- Coordination of restoration efforts.
• Execute storm role - Site preparation, post storm assessment, post storm restoration.
• Availability for storm response
- Coordinate and support in field preparation for region's solar and storage sites.
- Coordinate and support in field team assessment, restoration and support for region's solar and storage sites.
• Administrative duties and tasks as assigned.
The Regional Manager II/Engineering Leader will possess:

The base of operations will be North Solar Operations in Green Cove Springs, FL and it is expected that the ideal candidate be located in Jacksonville, FL area. Travel throughout the region will be required (~20% travel)
Job Overview
Leaders in this job oversee the Operations and Maintenance activities for a solar and storage energy project. Individuals are responsible for the overall safe and reliable operation of the solar and storage sites.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance to all Power Generation Division (PGD) operational model processes
- Leads by example and emulates the PGD shared values
- Ensures all business activities are conducted following corporate policies and are in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal permits, codes, standards, and regulations
- Monitors and Controls budget ensuring targets are met for their region
- Oversees and approves procurement activities of the site
- Leads, manages, and develops the team within their region.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 5+ years
- Leadership Experience: 5+ years
- Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
