For our global team of dedicated Heavy Lift Specialist we a re looking for a Team Lead with great people skills, but also with a project management proven mindset and a "get it done" attitude.
How to contribute to our vision
As our Team Lead you will:
- Lead and develop a team of ~20 dedicated Heavy Lift Specialists allocated to projects across the world by setting the direction in targets, processes and behavior
- Plan the demand for the team pro-actively with all stakeholders, esp. the Service Major Project and Resource Management teams in the region to ensure proper and sufficient manpower placement
- Ensure the competences within the team through competence management, sufficient onboarding and tracking of development
- Be the first point of contact for any issues, personal as well as professional, and provide the psychological safety mindset needed for the team to feel supported
- Drive Siemens Gamesa safety culture based on knowledge and requirements of legislation, regulations and codes of practice
- Improve and optimize processes and "routines" for the team to meet its full potential through the implementation of new initiatives
- Support the budget calculations and headcount reviews
- Continuously improv e Siemens Gamesa standards and working procedures associated with Onshore lifting Operations
- Be in close cooperation and communication with the construction site teams
- Ensure that all administrative tasks are carried out correctly (SAP bookings, hourly bookings, invoic ing , etc.)
What you need to make a difference
Beside a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we need that :
- You have leadership skills and ambitions to improve status quo
- You have several years of experience in heavy lift work and a solid technical understanding with focus on legacy Siemens and Siemens Gamesa turbines
- You are fluent in English and Danish both orally and in writing, and you possess skills in Microsoft Office
- As a person you are outgoing and proactive, have an analytical mindset, and you possess strong organizational, coordination and communication skills
- You should expect to travel up to 10% of your time, primarily visiting sites in Europe and potentially globally.
It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations.
