Sr Analyst, Strategic Initiatives
Job Summary
This role will support the development, prioritization, and tracking of key strategic initiatives within the Global Licensing department, including support of budgeting and forecasting licensed sales, QBRs, internal reporting, company presentations with a focus on new business development efforts that will require financial modeling and building business plans with potential licensed partners for new market entries. Additionally, this role will partner closely with the Finance team to ensure alignment. This role should expect 10-30% travel both domestically and internationally.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
· Support sales budgeting and forecasting processes through analytics and insights
· Internal communications including strategy, planning and execution of board of directors reports, quarterly business reviews, and internal company presentations
· Analysis, insights and reporting on sales and business updates and new strategic initiatives
· Assist with licensing initiatives including new partner onboarding, immersion, and education, and existing partner visits and education
· Support medium to long-term global growth strategy for licensed business through research and analysis
· Assess potential new licensing partners and conduct market research to evaluate countries for new market entry for near to medium-term expansion pipeline, with the goal of developing strategic recommendations for partner selection and market entry
· Support due diligence efforts related to new and existing licensed partnerships, in partnership with finance and legal teams
· Conduct scenario analyses and develop financial models to assess different structures for potential new licensed partnerships
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
· Highly skilled with Excel and building dynamic, complex financial models
· Experience in management consulting, investment banking or other highly analytical role with management interaction
· Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate and present ideas (both written and verbal) clearly, especially with executive-level teams and external partners
