Job Description:
In this role, you will partner to develop plans and execute strategic approaches to prepare, support, and enable the People & Culture team to build and deliver a new job and career framework. The team is looking for a well-rounded team member who can perform project management, change management and communications responsibilities as we build a new compensation and job structure for the company. This role will work closely with the Total Rewards and Colleague Experience teams.
What you will be doing:
Manage multiple inter-dependent projects within the People & Culture team, overseeing all aspects of assigned projects throughout project lifecycles to ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints.
Serve as liaison between teams in People & Culture organization to ensure all project targets and requirements are met, managing problem resolution and risk mitigation for escalated issues as needed.
Support day-to-day needs by building and delivering status reports.
Identify impacts and create change plans for challenges we are solving to better the career foundations for our colleagues.
Design and facilitate engagement group and one-to-one sessions to validate and design solutions
Build stories, draft communications, design support materials and craft presentations to align stakeholders and progress initiatives.
Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to business/client organizations
What you bring:
Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, and procedures.
Knowledge of human resources and total rewards.
Experience with large solution implementations.
Experience leading change and transformation.
Certification (PMP, Prosci or other) preferred.
Experience with storytelling and crafting impactful communications and materials for internal audiences.
Experience in fast-paced, growing environment.
5+ years working in a matrix environment with multiple senior stakeholders
Summary:
Responsible for planning and managing tactical projects that are typically of low to medium level complexity and that impact one or multiple business units.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Identifies project management coordination process gaps or areas for improvement, recommends and implements solutions.
* Manages project initiation activities that include identifying contractual obligations, client needs and goals, existing situation, necessary contacts, and access to existing information as needed.
* Reviews plans to determine costs, timeline, funding, staffing requirements and goals.
* Develops project plans outlining project scope, activities, schedules, deadlines and cost/time estimates.
* Delivers informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups.
* Assigns project team members to various project activities.
* Manages project risks, issues/problems, and activity progress to ensure project goals (e.g., deadline, scope and quality) are achieved. Assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed.
* Coordinates activities and tasks among project team members, other internal departments and client organizations as needed to meet project goals.
* Seeks and develops more productive and effective ways to complete assigned tasks. Ensures fit with timeline, architecture and user needs.
* Conducts project closure activities to formalize and communicate the project acceptance, handover ongoing activities to accountable teams and complete a post implementation review to identify areas of improvement or that worked well.
* Pursues project management certification or equivalent experience.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education:
Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in a related discipline.
Experience:
3-5 years experience in project management in financial services or a related industry; OR 3-5 years experience in a client-related field (e.g., business analysis, programming, client server, telecommunications, legal); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Actively pursuing project management certification or has the equivalent experience.
