The Roustabout is responsible for cargo work, maintenance and general labor duties. The Roustabout assists the Derrickhand and drill floor crew in preparing equipment for drilling operations.
- Perform general maintenance and housekeeping around the rig site.
- Assist the rig floor crew with general tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, and building perimeter protection.
- Complete formal health, safety and environment training and technical sessions.
- Maintain equipment in safe working order and report deviations.
- Participate in pre-tour and toolbox meetings with the drilling crew.
- Participate as part of the emergency crew as required, and as part of the well control team during shut-in procedures.
- Help the Driller and the Derrickhand to prepare drilling equipment and to mix drilling fluids and chemicals.
- Operate crane and forklift for off-loading and loading drilling materials and supplies.
- Relieve Floorhands on drill floor.
- Carry out routine maintenance, and report deviations.
- Perform regular housekeeping, keeping rig location, tubular and other tools clean and organized.
Cualificacion minima y experiencia: - Bachiller.
- Experiencia minima de 1 ano como Obrero de Patio para la industria petrolera.
- Ingles Basico.
- Residencia en Shushufindi (Sucumbios).
