Job Description The Field HSE Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures specific to field environments. Reporting into the Product and Service Delivery (PSD) Manager, he/she will be required to manage all HSE responsibilities in the field.
Successful Position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well in teams.
Roles and Responsibilities: - Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures specific to offshore environments.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Provide guidance and support to offshore personnel on HSE protocols and best practices.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
- Collaborate with PSDs and offshore teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness.
- Coordinate emergency response drills and exercises.
- Conduct HSE training sessions for offshore staff.
Qualifications and Experience: - Minimum 8 years of experience in HSE roles within the oil and gas industry, with 3 - 5 years experience in offshore operations
- In-depth knowledge of offshore safety regulations and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Needs to be proficient in communicating in English as candidate will need to communicate with internal SLB and external customer.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, etc.) preferred.
