Position Description
Job Summary
This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of Finance related projects on a small core team. Projects focus on continuous improvement with emphasis on new technologies for automation and process optimization and standardization.
- Each day is different as projects have varying responsibilities and milestones. We work together collaboratively to manage day-to-day activities with defined delivery at key points.
- The position encompasses deployment of projects impacting more than 50 North American businesses. Areas of focus span from Accounting & Reporting, Accounts Payable, Cash Application and Payroll.
- Specific projects have included: (i) implementing a new invoice-to-pay software system which incorporates optical character recognition and artificial intelligence as well as management and tracking of the financial aspects of new acquisitions; (ii) new journal entry workflow and (iii) implementing center of excellence (COE) model for account reconciliations.
- With exposure to executive management in North America, this role provides the opportunity to directly impact the bottom line with step change improvements to existing processes.
- While this role is a hybrid work-from-home, the candidate will follow the Malvern in office attendance guidelines. Travel is minimal as most of the work can be done remotely.

Required Qualifications
The candidate should have a creative mindset and strong communication skills. Additional qualifications include:
- 5+ years of experience working in a professional setting focused on improvement programs, project management experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with ERP platforms, SAP or QAD experience is a plus.
- Well-developed organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Detailed oriented with excellent analytical ability
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in MS Office products, with strong excel skills.
