Danner's Inc., a long-standing Maritime Transportation and Security company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Pasadena, TX. Our ideal candidate will be an HR professional who is committed to fostering a positive workplace culture and can effectively manage all aspects of human resources.
Position Overview:
As the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee HR operations, drive recruitment efforts, manage employee relations, and ensure compliance with company policies and federal regulations. You will collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support our organizational goals and enhance our workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
- Manage the recruitment process using diverse strategies and platforms, including job postings on Indeed.
- Manage effective employee evaluation processes, providing regular feedback and coaching to employees.
- Manage and maintain comprehensive employee records, including performance reviews and compensation details.
- Handle workers' compensation claims, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.
- Stay updated on labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and adapting to changes.
- Analyze HR data to drive business decisions and enhance company operations.
- Provide training and support on company policies, performance management, and compensation.
- Manage the HRIS system and HR software, ensuring effective utilization.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve employee retention.
- Manage and maintain the company's HR software.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience.
- Strong skills in data analysis and interpretation of complex HR data.
- Excellent interviewing and recruitment abilities.
- Experience managing workers' compensation claims.
- Proficient in HR software systems, like ADP or Paylocity.
- Strong performance management skills, with experience in goal-setting and feedback processes.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with employees and management.
General Requirements:
- Must be employment eligible based on background requirements to include criminal background check, clean MVR, health/drug screen
Physical:
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Frequent use of a keyboard and mouse is required
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Average / Good vision.
- Good communication skills.
- Occasional travel within the state of Texas
