Job DescriptionAs the Materials Planner, your primary responsibility will be to plan, schedule, and manage the efficient raw material and finished goods strategy for ED/EDR Materials at MTKA and Westborough locations.

- Expert knowledge of SAP and SAP Planning Process
Duties & Responsibilities:- Review SAP backlog and Product forecast to determine which manufacturing location will manufacture products.
- Plan Raw Materials to support the production in each site while taking into account lead-times and limits on material storage as well as managing inventory at a 3rd party warehouse.
- Work with other Departments to determine delivery priorities for both manufacturing sites and create 3-month Production schedules for each plant.
- Update delivery commitment dates for all customer and inter-company orders in SAP.
- Contact person for status on all orders.
- Reports and improves key performance indicators for planning and manufacturing operations.
- Responsible for appropriate documentation and maintaining information in appropriate systems.
- Manage department cycle counting program, provide leadership during site physical inventory and lead post-inventory improvement projects
QualificationsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:- Uses advanced analytical/technical problem solving to develop new solutions to existing problems/procedures
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and manipulate spreadsheet or large datasets
- Experience with ERP systems and ERP planning modules, such as SAP/MRP
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Strong regard for product quality and safety standards
Education & ExperienceRequired:- College Degree in Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain, or related major (or High School diploma with at least 8 years of planning or related supply chain work experience)
- At least 5 years or more of planning or relevant supply chain work experience
Preferred:- ASCM CPIM - Certified in production and inventory planning
Working Conditions:- <5% Travel
- Hybrid work structure: 3-4 days onsite
