How to contribute to our vision We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our
West Bakr site, you will be part of a permanently employed dedicated technician team. You will be carrying out all of the duties associated with the service and scheduled maintenance of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) wind turbine generators.
You will deliver excellent service and meantime between faults (MTBF) while ensuring compliance with SGRE internal processes and procedures.
The role will involve flexibility between service and other scheduled maintenance roles across the year. The role will be a travelling role and technicians will be expected to travel.
Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to: - Performing mainly pre-defined, technical tasks (for example, basic commissioning of products and systems, integration of components to a system, basic engineering, maintenance jobs) and work packages on-site and remotely
- Supporting customer remotely and onsite and provides 2nd and 3rd level user support in case of arising issues.
- Coordinating and accomplishes defined service operations and/or resolves product issues for customers equipment.
- Supporting in generating sales leads for pre-defined service offers and contributes to planning activities.
- Adhering to defined processes and applicable regulations.

- The candidate requires electrical or mechanical training certificate and relevant experience
- Professional experience - Electrical / mechanical
- Ideally you will have a Comprehensive understanding of and a consistent ability to demonstrate your own competency levels as a Technician, Competent Technician, Maintenance Technician or above
- A strong communicator willing to undertake assignments and work Individually
- A self-motivated individual with ability to cope with the pressures of time
