Position Summary Purpose T o ensure that all Rope Access activities are carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with company and statutory regulations. The execution of multiple Non-Destructive Testing techniques to ascertain conditioning monitoring of components as directed by Management or Supervisors. Report findings within approved formats ensuring compliance with Oceaneering procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities Functions ESSENTIAL
• Supervise, direct, and coordinate Rope Access activities.
• Implement appropriate standards of safety and quality control in Rope Access activities.
• Execute NDT techniques as listed below on items of static equipment and associated piping.
• Ad-hoc NDT inspections as directed by Management or Supervisors.
• Produce detailed reports with isometrics or sketches showing the areas inspected and the results obtained
• Support NDT inspection programs.
• Responsible for all Rope Access activities and personnel under supervision.
• Ensure all NDT Testing and Reporting requirements complies with Oceaneering procedures.
• Ensure all Rope Access equipment is maintained and complies with Oceaneering procedures.
• Ensure all mandatory assigned training modules are completed within a timely manner.
• Ensure all work is executed in accordance with Oceaneering Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems
• Time sheets/client work sheets/IRATA hours / monthly checklists and submit to Rope Access Manager
• Ensure that existing and potential clients are kept informed of advancements to rope access services
• Attend safety meetings/Tool-box-talks as required
• Carry out periodic audits as required
• Mentoring and coaching of host country nationals.
• Supervising of new or trainee technicians while carrying out site work activities.
• Carry out inductions with new personnel
• Attend client meetings during the task planning or organizing period
• Maintain contact with existing and potential customers and establish close relationships with them to promote the company's interests

Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities; however, you will be expected to lead, supervisor and coordinate Rope Access activities. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work. Ensuring compliance with all HSE requirements and supporting Management or Supervisors for all Rope Access and/or NDT related activities.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics • High School Diploma or the equivalent, Minimum grade 12 certification (E)
• Proficient in reading and writing English (E)
• Ten (5) years minimum Inspection experience in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry (P).
• Five (5) years' experience on Offshore Oil and Gas Industry utilizing Rope Access (E)
• Minimum 3 years (36-month actual work) experience with Ultrasonic (UT), Penetrant Test, and Magnetic Particle Test
• Certified Level 1/II on main NDT such as UT, RT, PT, MT. (P).
• Demonstrated experience on piping and pressure vessels inspection and repair procedures
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings (P).
• Fundamental written and verbal communication skills
• Basic understanding of corrosion mechanisms and monitoring ( E)
• Basic knowledge of metallurgy
• Familiar with QA/QC systems/procedures and NDT techniques.
• Previous experience of coaching and mentoring.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office suits.
• Gives and receives constructive feedback while coaching and mentoring activities.
• Ensures that regular consistent communication takes place within the work group.
Working Conditions This position is considered ONSHORE-OFFSHORE which is characterized as follows :
• Outdoors and indoors, day and night, as well as over/near water
• Requires working on or near moving equipment and vibrating equipment
• Frequently the humidity is above 90%, noise is over 85 decibels
• Potential exposure to open fire/flames/sparks.
• Constant exposure to airborne dust, fumes, and gases.
• Work surface is stable, height is elevated
• Requires working with radiation.
