The Distribution Operations Department is looking for an Engineer II to join their team. This candidate will handle the design of complex revenue generating projects such as single-family homes, commercial designs, and residential subdivisions. Employees in this role apply diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to broad variety of assignments and related fields. The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks.
This position is based at the Indian River Service Center, Walton Service Center, or Stuart Service Center in Florida.

Job Overview

This position conducts analysis on system performance and reliability strategy and provides recommendations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Works on all aspects of engineering design and permitting
- Acts as a single point of contact for mid-level complexity projects for the department
- Tracks and reports on performance
- Delivers company standards, policies, training, and support of organization
- Prepares communications and presentations, and conducts meetings
- Meets attendance and storm duty requirements
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (NON-CDL)
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor's - Engineering
- Experience:2+ years
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Professional Engineer (PE)
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
- Master's Degree
