Position Specific Description
We are seeking a skilled Technical Leader to provide comprehensive support for our Corporate Business Units (CBUs). The ideal candidate will have experience as a liaison between application vendors, business units, and technical teams. This pivotal role ensures seamless operation and optimization of numerous business-critical applications for a wide array of business partners as well as driving project success for key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Liaison Duties: Serve as the primary liaison between CBUs and IT, facilitating communication and support.
• Customer Relationships: Establish and manage effective customer relationships with system users and technical team members.
• Project Management: Manage and implement CBU IT projects, coordinating between cross-functional teams to resolve impediments.
• Application Support: Support key applications such as iManage, TeamConnect, and matter management systems.
• Server Administration: Administer Windows servers and support on-premise infrastructure.
• Cloud Maintenance: Assist with cloud platform maintenance and transitions.
• Solution Design: Design and implement IT solutions to meet customer needs and business goals.
• Analytical Skills: Apply advanced analytical skills to decompose work into manageable value-based units.
• Conflict Resolution: Respond to requests, identify conflicts, and make recommendations.
• Problem Solving: Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems.
• Interdependency Management: Identify interdependencies and functional gaps in business processes.
• Technical Understanding: Build a strong understanding of technical solutions and analyze failure points.
• Project Documentation: Create and update project documentation.
• Technology Trends: Stay informed about market trends in technology.
• Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Liaison Experience: Experience in a liaison role with Corporate Business Units or in an IT liaison role between business and technical teams.
• Project Management Skills: Demonstrated project management skills.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification: A Yellow or Green Belt certification preferred
• Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of SQL and experience running SQL scripts. Stronger Technical knowledge (C#, Java, Server administration) preferred
• Platform Familiarity: Familiarity with on-premise and cloud platforms.
• Problem-solving skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
