Position Summary:
The Business Analyst, IT Support will support the technology needs of Martin-Brower business, to improve overall business goals (i.e. Productivity, Reliability, On-Time, Cost per case and Safety metrics). This role will further develop and maintain systems leveraged by Martin Brower US operations and supply chain. This role is critical to rolling out potential technological improvements, upgrades and conversions and developing new solutions.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Support the exploration and execution of discovering new technologies and methods to improve our overall business operations (productivity, profitability, reliability, safety, etc.)
- Utilize data analytics to tell a story
- Develop business cases to initiate Proof of Concepts, as well as track progressive improvements during and after the projects
- Utilize app development (i.e. through Power Apps) to create platforms to enhance user experience within the business
- Utilize tools such as Power Apps and One Reach AI to support the business
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 1-2 years’ experience in business analysis, IT or related experience
- Working knowledge of business processes, system development and process improvements
- Proficient in gathering business requirements, process flows and use cases
- Experience with modeling and mapping as-is and to-be business processes
- Fluent with databases with strong grasp of data mining, analytics and reporting with programs like Power BI and similar tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Expert in Microsoft Office
- Travel – up to 50% or as required
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Lean Six Sigma Belt Certification is a plus
- Experience developing and maintaining PowerBI is a plus
- Experience developing and utilizing Power Apps and One Reach AI is a plus
- Experience with Supply Chain systems covering DC & Transportation is a plus
