Overview
The Vitamin Shoppe is seeking a Jr. Graphic Designer to play an important role in the Company's mission to support our customers on their wellness journeys. This is an opportunity for a hands-on creative talent to touch various parts of the in-house design process, contribute to multiple marketing channels, and thrive among a close-knit team. The right candidate thinks outside of the box, possesses a strong ability to translate requirements into eye-catching design, and is an effective collaborator.
Responsibilities
- Design a variety of digital assets for all our marketing channels (web banners, emails, landing pages, banner ads, social media ads, etc.)
- Design and resize layouts using existing templates, ensuring consistency across all executions
- Collaborate with marketing channel owners to find the best creative solutions for given challenges
- Contribute ideas and input during creative meetings
- Identify opportunities for improvement and change
- Partner with the creative team to develop concepts and translate them into original key visuals for use across all communication channels
- Stay up to date with industry trends
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent combination of experience and instruction
Skill and Ability:
- Exceptional skills in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, along with a strong work ethic, excellent coordination, and time management abilities
- Keen eye for detail and a passion for typography, design, and layout
- Self-starter with an eagerness to meet and exceed expectations and take on additional responsibilities
- Flexible in managing multiple projects and shifting priorities based on business objectives
- Patient and adaptable when handling multiple rounds of revisions
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement

Compensation
The wage for this position is based on many factors such as role requirements, skill set, years of experience and other organizational needs. The estimated range is $50,000 - $60,000 per year.
