Inside the RoleThis role plays an exciting and critical role in the overall IT sourcing landscape, helping to set and execute IT's strategic initiatives in the sourcing and supplier management roadmap. It manages the relationship with IT suppliers at all levels, including Subject Matter Experts, Client Relationship Managers, and Supplier Executives. This person manages and controls overall operations of formal contracts for supply of products and services. Furthermore, this role ensures that suppliers are managed within DTNA in a harmonized and standardized manner across the life cycle in a multi-provider ecosystem.

We Take Care of Our TeamWhat You Drive at DTNA - Design the relationship management approach to be taken, including responsibilities, policies, processes, etc.
- Developing relationship principles between stakeholders.
- Oversee the fulfillment of contractual obligations.
- Promoting contractual change control processes.
- Monitor continuous improvement programs and contractual lifecycle management.
- Ensure non-discriminatory behavior and legal compliance.
- Develop broad industry credentials as 'best practice' champion.
- Identify required changes, evaluate the impact, and advise stakeholders about the implications and consequences for the business and procurement.
- Support and engage with experts to ensure continuous improvements are identified through reviewing processes.
- Develop and own change management protocols and ensures that they are strictly followed during the contract management process.
- Analyze, manage, monitor and improve supplier relationships in order to target mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Implement supplier engagement plan and derive specific activities and deliverables.
- Manage and control overall operations of formal contracts for supply of products and services.
- Support, coordinate and resolve contractual issues, including failure to meet contractual obligations.
- Investigate and make recommendations on new sourcing trends and strategic IT suppliers.
- Demonstrate a commitment to total quality and the process of continuous improvement.
- Participate in global and regional EAM initiatives.
- Collaborates with IPS, Legal, and HR to ensure viable solutions are designed.
- Facilitate business decision-making processes and capture and disseminate technical and business information.
- Negotiate contracts and coordinate supplier integration plans with internal clients.
- Monitor market dynamics that impact materials/services availability and/or pricing.
- Partner with internal clients to identify sourcing needs, develop buyer/market profiles, identify marketplace trends, and define acceptable service levels.
- Work independently within guidelines and policies to solve problems of moderate complexity.
- Provide informal guidance to new team members.
- Support or lead projects or processes as required.
- Provide reports and data insights on existing IT supplier information.
Knowledge You Should Bring - BS/BA and prefer 5-7 years of relevant experience or 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience leading, motivating and managing various team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with suppliers or other external parties, understand their business practices and manage their expectations.
- Communicates clearly, precisely, convincingly and appropriately to the situation.
- Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills for structuring complex issues.
- Strong self-initiative and independence.
- Ability to transfer best practices, experiences and knowledge to others.
- Strong organizational skills incl. time management and planning.
- Microsoft Front End (Windows OS, Office, O365).

Exceptional Candidates Might Have - BS/BA and 4 years of relevant experience preferred or 6+ years relevant experience leading team of people in a high volume manufacturing or logistics setting.
- 5+ years of IT experience.
- Ability to analyze, understand, and explain business and system processes.
- Understanding and experience with software development life cycles. Experience with a variety of modern programming languages and web-based development frameworks.
- Experience with senior executive/leadership engagement.
- Experience working with diverse technology platforms.
- Possess in depth knowledge of large-scale Application, Business and Technical Infrastructure implementations.
- Knowledge of DTNA processes and systems.
- Knowledge of managing contracts.
- Specific knowledge concerning the respective business processes.
- Practical experience in demand management.
- Experience in process analysis and process optimization.
- Relevant work experience in software portfolio management and optimization, vendor management and procurement, especially with regards to licenses.
- Confident in business discussions in English, German is a plus.
