Job Summary:
- The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling.
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications to determine the correct machine settings and operations.
- Input design specifications into the CNC machine and adjust settings to ensure accurate production.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery, including troubleshooting and reporting any malfunctions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Keep detailed records of machine operations, production logs, and quality control reports.
- Other duties assigned by the manager.
Qualifications/Experience:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience with CNC operations.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and precision measurement tools.
- Basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions, verbally and written.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Prolonged periods of standing and working on machinery.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
