SR. CREATIVE PRODUCER

What You'll Do
As a Senior Creative Producer at Madwell, you'll be working alongside our strategy, creative, social, and media teams to shepherd a steady flow of projects from conception to delivery, always ensuring that Big Ideas don't dwarf business goals-or get sidelined by the bottom line. You'll also work closely with our Production Director and our VP of Production to help evolve and implement new and stronger processes, keeping projects productive and healthy over time.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Production/Project Management
- Plans and leads large accounts/projects with little support from more senior team members / manager
- Able to develop complex, multi-discipline project plans and roadmaps
- Solid understanding of production processes and critical dependencies
- Adept at risk mitigation and contingency planning
- Adept at creating 360 integrated campaign timelines
- Strong understanding of production needs for full 360 deliverables
Communication
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to create and deliver internal presentations; Leads meetings with ease
- Adept at handling sensitive client and internal communications
- Effective at conflict resolution
- Able to manage partner and external vendor communications
Collaboration
- Able to adjust management style to the specific needs of the team and/or situation
- Knows how to strike a balance between building consensus and forcing a decision, if necessary
- Active partnership with the Account lead and project teams to optimize project performance
- Act as a true partner to the creative team, helping to workshop ways to bring their ideas to life using your production experience
Critical Thinking/Problem Solving
- Proactively sets realistic delivery expectations based on understanding of goals, feasibility, and client expectations
- Proactively identifies potential challenges before they occur
- Partners with team leads across all departments and presents solutions to foreseeable challenges
- Ability to think solutions first when problems arise
Scope & Financial Management
- Able to partner with account and advise on complex scopes independently and engage leads to gain clarity where necessary
- Accountable for scope management and change control process
- Excels in writing and negotiating change orders with account
- Works with manager and/or dept lead on high level financial planning/reporting for one or more clients
- Able to analyze and document financial impact of burn against deliverables
- Accountable for management of entire client / program budget

Overall Leadership
- Leading and mentoring of 1-2 producers.
- Collaborating and mentoring direct reports in defining and achieving the best possible outcome for all projects.
- Work closely with the Production Director in determining team bandwidths and assigning producers to new and upcoming clients and or projects.
- Act as a delivery lead on 1-2 accounts, establishing best practices, and ensuring QA accuracy.
Where You've Been
- At least 5 years as a creative producer or project manager, ideally at a
creative agency
Lines of Report
Reporting to: Production Director
Direct reports may include: Associate Creative Producer or Creative Producer pending the business needs.

Salary range: $110,000 - $125,000
* This is a hybrid role based out of our NYC office. You must be located within commuting distance of Brooklyn, NY to be considered for this role. You will be required to be in the office 3 days a week. *
