For our Grid Code Solutions department, we are looking for a Senior Grid Codes Engineer. As Grid Engineer with high expertise in Grid Codes, you will support and develop Grid Connection solutions for the corresponding projects in the Technology (TE) Department.
How to contribute to our vision:As Senior Grid Codes Engineer, you will be:
Ensuring
grid connection market compatibility of the new turbines, this includes:
- Develop grid performance concepts.
- Ensure market transparency.
- Identify grid relevant product requirements and ensure corresponding commitments.
- Identify testing needs for grid performance validation.
- Identify requirements for model development.
- Ensure all documentation related to grid performance is compliant and according to internal guidelines.
- Ensure all grid certification activities are addressed properly in the project.
Develop
analytics tools for grid code evaluations and assessments.
- Engage different stakeholders in the company - grid community - to ensure the entire value chain is considered.
- Drive the topic and making decisions about tool roadmap.
Being main
SGRE representative in Grid forums (standards, international committees, etc.) to influence on future regulations and develop products with the best LCOE.
What you need to make a difference:Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:
A person with a
master's degree in electrical engineering or similar with a focus on power engineering / grid connection. Preferably, you have at least
10 years of working experience in the renewable energy industry.
It is important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, and you must have experience with PSCAD, DigSilent, and/or Matlab.
Preferably, you should be located in Denmark or Spain.
In addition, the ideal candidate should be a motivating team player, who is curious, responsible, and structured with excellent communication skills. You interact with stakeholders high and low in the organization as well as external stakeholders. You are motivated by providing quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and an international environment.
You must be right, motivated, and capable of making decisions in complicated and difficult situations.
Finally, it is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations.
