This role is part of Manufacturing design and EAM team, where process design creation/ revision through storyboards, process work instruction and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) concepts are being worked out.
Responsibilities - Responsible for Engineering Change Management (ECM)
- Production Work Instruction (PWI), Production drawings and BOM routing
- Storyboards/ technical specification/ lifting instructions
- New Product/Production line introduction (NPI & TT)
- Revise PWIs based on engineering change orders
- Translate PWIs to local language working with externals & maintain track of Spanish/ Russian/ Portuguese version of PWIs
- Create new PWIs working along with NPI teams and ensure to maintain closed loop based on other production documentation like PFMEA, Control plan, inspection plan, etc
- Defining assembly sequences (Storyboards) from Manufacturing concept
- Read & Interpret engineering drawing & other production documentation
- Report to global PE function on weekly status of task completion
- Efficiently coordinate stakeholders on projects and their deliverables
Qualifications - Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of relevant work experience
Competencies - Experience in PLM concept & system. Preferably Windchill
- Exposure in working with 3D modelling software like CREO/ Solidworks
- Design for Manufacturing
- MPM link, NPI/ NPD of WTG assembly/ Heavy equipment manufacturing
- Project handling/ management exposure
- Proficient in MS Office 365 applications for reporting day to day progress
- Having exposure in the field of either Wind turbine part manufacturing (Blade/ Nacelles/ Towers/ Controls) OR any assembly line exposure is an added advantage
