Piping Engineer (Onshore) Job Description: The Piping Engineer (Onshore) shall focus on piping design and engineering including materials, layout, supports, calculations, and stress analysis; and will report to the Senior Piping Engineer and Project Manager. They shall provide support in all projects that involve piping and interface with other discipline personnel:
Develop all Materials related deliverables (specifications, datasheets, requisitions, lists/schedules, MTOs/BOQs, Bid evaluations, ITPs, etc.)Assist the Procurement department in making decisions on finalizing the vendors and expediting vendor data, manufacturing, inspection, completion, and delivery of final productsDevelop and manage materials specifications and product catalogs database in CADD toolsDevelop all Layout related deliverables (plot plans, 3D models, general arrangements, piping supports, BOMs, isometrics, details, sections, etc.)Develop, implement, and maintain the piping design standards, guides, and proceduresEnsure engineering, design quality, and technical accuracy of drawings, 3D models, material quantities, specifications, and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Should have completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with an area of specialization in either Mechanical or Chemical EngineeringShould have at least 5+ years of experience with Plant Piping design and engineering in Oil and GasKnowledge in piping design, piping construction, and materials specification in accordance with local and international codes and standards, including but not limited to ASME, ANSI, API, BS, EN, IP, ISO, and NFPAKnowledge and Experience in creating piping documents and drawings, with more experience in Piping materials related documentsExperienced with piping design software such as AutoCAD, 3D Modelling software tools (preferably CADWorx Plant) Navisworks, CAESAR IIStrong verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of appropriate design and construction methodsKeen to apply for the post kindly revert with below required details and share your updated resume on
