Main Purpose:
Senior Lead Mechanical Maintenance is responsible for overseeing mechanical maintenance teams, developing strategic plans for equipment upkeep, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of mechanical systems. Expert in troubleshooting equipments, manage resources, and enforce safety and compliance standards to maintain optimal performance. The role involves strategic planning, technical expertise, and effective leadership for a seamless mechanical maintenance operation.
Job Accountabilities:
- Lead and supervise maintenance engineers and contractors at Installations, Wellsites, Pipelines, and Workshop.
- Ensure implementation of maintenance procedures in compliance with statutory, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
- Analyze and evaluate engineering and design changes, process enhancements, and modifications.
- Ensure maintenance tasks according to preventive maintenance schedules and routine day-to-day maintenance for all plant assets.
- Maintaining detailed records/history sheets of equipment and analyze data.
- Ensure timely ordering of spare parts, tools, and services through the P&C process.
- Maintaining a proper inventory of spare parts and tools needed for planned and emergency maintenance.
- Preparation of SOW/tender documents for maintenance/AMC jobs.
- Preparation of annual maintenance budgets, forecasts, and Capital Expenditure proposals.
- Interface with contractors, third parties, customers, suppliers, and service providers.
- Collaboration with Installation Manager, Electrical and Instrumentation Leads & Sr Lead, P&C, and Planning Department.
- Preparation of SOPs, SMPs, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and requirements.
- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance team.
- Identify and fulfill training needs for self and team.
- Continuously adopt new technologies/processes.
Skill & Competencies:
- Must have knowledge on reciprocating compressors,pumps, Gas and Diesel engines maintenance.
- Knowledge on SAP PM & MM
- Must have knowledge on API/OISD/ASME Standards
- Good communication (verbal & written) and People management skills.
- Data-based decision making.
- Ability to handle pressure from unexpected circumstances & timely delivery of results.
- Promote high standards through personal example and team communication.
- Spot and resolve conflicts within the team.
- Capable of conducting Failure and Root Cause Analysis.

Qualification:
Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university.
Experience:
- Candidate should have 15-20 years of experience in mechanical maintenance of E&P/Hydrocarbon industry.
- Possess an excellent knowledge of industry codes and practices, applicable legislation, and international standards.
- Experience in rotary and static equipment.
