Responsibilities - Reports directly to project's Material Manager and/or Laydown Supervisor.
- Assists in planning for incoming goods.
- Ensures resources are available for unloading materials being delivered.
- Ensures proper unloading procedures are followed.
- Responsible for receiving materials and documenting goods received.
- Follows "receiving work process outlined" for the project.
- Ensure that goods received are properly stored in designated areas.
- Responsible for dentification and labelling of equipment with Project ID.
- Supports Quality Manager in inspections of goods received to ensure they are in good orders.
- Performs preservation activities as specified by preservation work packages.
- Supports construction quality assurance activities.
- Supports internal audits.
- Performs and maintains housekeeping of laydown yards.
Skills/Experience Requirements - Certification of 12K forklift is required.
- Highly experienced operating forklifts. Candidate will be tested prior to onboarding.
Location: Destrehan, Louisiana
Hours: 5 days/week, 10 hours per day, occasional weekend work. Overtime rate is applicable for anything over 40 hours per week.
