About this role:This Senior Finance Analyst will be an innovative leadership/transformational change agent reporting to a leader within the Technology Chief Operating Office, Cybersecurity and Office of the head of Technology Finance team. Problem solving with uncertain/ambiguous conditions, strong financial technical acumen, Technology Asset Management, proven ability to develop meaningful analytics to provide insights that drive informed decisions, internal/external collaboration across geographic locations, sound controls and sustainable continuous improvement are key attributes.
In this role, you will - Support all financial processes and reporting including actuals, budget, forecast of various financial and headcount metrics and scenarios/views including general ledger, program/project, product, application, allocations, and business case financials
- Complete month-end financial close including forecasting, reporting, and analysis of direct expenses at a detailed cost center and account level
- Partner with Finance counterparts across the Company to provide financial commentary and analysis regarding financial drivers and variances (i.e. actuals/forecast vs. budget)
- Engage in annual budgeting of business case estimation for technology investments, monitor against approved spend to provide financial transparency
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial analytics and reporting and presentations
- Maintain and refine key metrics and performance indicators across areas such as Technology workforce and vendor usage and spend
- Collaborate and liaise with various stakeholders across Technology, Finance, and COO to ensure best practices and desired results
- Perform in-depth financial reporting/analysis
- Ensure proper financials preparation for operating reviews/reports, financial ownership in business cases and ad-hoc analyses
- Manage monthly results close financial processes; provide forecast/budget updates with meaningful/actionable analytics
- Drive transparency, cost simplification, value measurement in financial advice and guidance for strategic planning and business level plans
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity with appropriate skepticism to review/ challenge/enhance/transform current processes that can benefit from improvements; take ownership to push things forward and make progress
- Engage/execute product model strategy
- Uphold/maintain balance between risk mitigation and operational efficiency
- Ensure regulatory, data and controls compliance for all processes/programs undertaken by business finance teams
Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of Finance experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
Desired Qualifications:- Strong analytical skills including financial metrics analysis
- Experience with regulatory, data and controls stakeholders
- Visual/verbal data trend presentation preparation for management reporting
- Knowledge/understanding of report analysis: emphasis on accuracy and telling a story with supporting details
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross functional team organizational structure
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and work within a team to identify and resolve problems
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, Essbase and/or SmartView experience, Apptio proficiency
Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
