Job Title:- Senior Petroleum Engineer - Carbonates experience (15+ years' Experience)

Role Summary:-
Petroleum Engineer with experience in Well Intervention, well Completions, Stimulation, engineering
Essential Responsibilities:- To act as Senior Petroleum Engineer as part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-consulting environment to advise on production enhancement for carbonate gas/condensate reservoirs.
* Experience with multiple types of technologies relevant for production enhancement and using them appropriately.
* Carryout diagnostic analysis of wells to determine reasons for low productivity of wells.
· Generate vertical flow profile tables for the dynamic modeling study.
· Review existing cased/open hole well completions and evaluate their benefits and drawbacks.
- Proficient in well intervention designs.
· Recommend well completion designs for new wells and work over side tracks
- Proficient in rigless operations support.
· Identify potential candidate from existing wells, recommend and design suitable stimulation plan (acid/fracturing) with significant oil gain
· Carry out risk assessments related to stimulation job procedures in collaboration with FD, well surveillance and other service providers
· Supervise the stimulation job implementation, if required
· Carry out post job evaluation and present the results to team/management
· Analyze all types of cement evaluation logs for wells and prepare interpretation report
· Analyze all types of corrosion log for tubing/casing for wells and prepare interpretation report
· Analyze PLT/Temp survey results and identify well integrity issues.
· Combine PLT results with current water injection strategy and mitigate water-flooding
· Recommend suitable diagnostic tools for identification of cement quality behind multiple casings with heavy mud
· Recommend remedial action to improve well integrity and reduce corrosion/impact of corrosion
· Formulate well integrity and corrosion monitoring plan for wells (rig-less & with rig)
· Evaluate and execute full scale implementation of relevant technology.
· Working on production chemistry and flow assurance issues.
· Has good communication/ project management skills for effective coordination with Team members, other departments and service providers
· Has coaching and mentoring ability to impart skills and knowledge to younger team members.
· Willing to carry out other related tasks.
Qualifications/Requirements: · University degree in Petroleum Engineering or Equivalent.
· Minimum 15 years of industry experience, of which at least 10 years in production technology (analysis, engineering and monitoring of sand face and mechanical completion, Artificial Lift, Scale, Corrosion, Perforation, Stimulation tec.).
· Worked as for an oil exploration & production company or international service company.
· Direct experience in maximizing well productivity from tight carbonate reservoirs including experience and expertise to optimize and improve performance of wells on artificial lift/ESP. Experience in unconventional/kerogen/naturally fractured reservoirs would be an added qualification
· Hands-on experience in stimulation of tight carbonate reservoirs, especially in acidization and frac design.
· Capability to specify well completion techniques with good experience in designing and implementing horizontal and multilateral wells.
· Capable of planning and implementation of well interventions and workovers, for the purpose of stimulation/fracturing and evaluation of production potential
· Extensive knowledge on AL, especially ESP and PCP (from design to DIFA analysis), knowledge on ESP KPI definition (MTBF/RL) and implementation.
· Working knowledge of production optimization techniques
· Expertise in Nodal Analysis software.
· Experience on well modelling and network preparation, validation and update (PROSPER/GAPS/PIPESIM/OFM).
· Should have very good knowledge of tools/techniques used in identifying well integrity and corrosion issues
· Should be familiar with different types of HP-HT well completions & capable of recommending completion material suitable to address H2S/CO2/highly saline formation water.
