The NVIDIA Operations organization is seeking an experienced technology professional for the position of Data Systems Analyst to support initiatives in the Operations Data Analytics organization.
As a Data Systems Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in encouraging collaboration among internal customers, external suppliers, and team members to advance the creation of analytics solutions. Your role will involve guiding the design and ensuring effective delivery by working closely with teams like IT, Operations, and business units, as well as external partners like contract manufacturers, ODMs, and SIs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Drive business insights that help drive and grow our business. Identify business gaps in analytics solutions and recommend improvement actions
- Collaborate with teams to understand and define data quality attributes and metrics that work best for our shop floor data and file delivery. This ensures help to validate the integrity and quality of our data
- Monitor data quality by performing regular audits, identifying anomalies, and implementing data validation processes
- Directly engage with external contract manufacture partners to fix data discrepancies. Additionally, collaborate with internal teams, such as Product Design Engineers, to resolve data issues, ensuring smooth data flow and accurate analytics.
- Design and build dashboards and reports using some of the standard data visualization tools like Tableau, power BI. Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational and semi-structured databases. Aggregate multiple data sets to provide insights to the users and management team.
- Work with Product Development Engineering team to translate SKU/PFG Definition into part chain structure from wafer to die to finished goods for supply chain manufacturing execution.
- Setup part chain information as required and ensure integrity of attributes. Additionally, work with Planner & Product Development Engineering team to manage product lifecycle from new product introduction to quality sample, production samples to mass production.
- Work with Product Development Engineering team to update Yield/Bin Fraction/FF/Test Times forecast.
What we need to see:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or information systems, or equivalent experience with programming knowledge (i.e Python, Java, etc), and strong in writing complex DB query SQL.
- 5+ years of strong analytical skills able to extract actionable insights from raw data to help improve business.
- Familiarity of Outsourced Manufacturing, and understands Fabless Semiconductor Manufacturing flow. Understand ECO (Engineering Change Order) process.
- Solid understanding of supply chain concept and experience with product lifecycle management.
- Solid experience with systems, managing VMs, and tools and Proficient at queries, reporting and summarizing findings. Experienced in SQL
- Strong analytical skills, logical problem solver, results driven with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information accurately and at a detailed level
- Ability to communicate optimally with business users and translate business needs into technology solutions. Ability to connect with all team members successfully and effectively.
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data analytics and segmentation techniques. Experienced with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc)
- High energy with a positive problem-solving attitude, and strong multi-tasking and interpersonal skills.
- Independent and motivated individual who requires little supervision and demonstrates good judgment and decision-making skills
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Experience with Semiconductor manufacturing operations, and with Supply Chain background.
- Knowledge in operational processes in chips, boards, systems, and servers with a view of the data landscape
- Proficient in driving continuous improvement of systems and processes.
