Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Project Manager in New York - Ithaca, Albany or Farmingdale. Our offices in New York are comprised of over 100 professionals, working in a highly collaborative environment, specializing in K-12 facilities and international projects. Will provide integrated design services for a wide variety of public buildings, but focusing on K-12 educational facilities and work in the federal sector, primarily abroad. Overall team of professionals provides innovative architectural design, building systems engineering, interior design, site design, civil design and 3-D Imaging services to clients regionally and globally. Designers engage proven yet innovative building methods and technologies that provide real-world solutions resulting in more efficient and sustainable projects.
Responsibility:
- Manage top-tier client relationships and contracts
- Manage the financial aspects for a broad range of large multi-phase institutional projects
- Provide technical and design leadership for some of the industry’s top interdisciplinary design teams
- Mentor junior level professionals, developing satisfying collegial relationships
- Provide meaningful input to firm leadership regarding excellence in professional, technical, and business practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or related field
- 10+ years of experience working in the design/construction field, with 5+ years of project management experience
- New York State Architectural License
- Experience in K-12 educational facilities
- Looking for someone with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and enjoys working as a contributing part of a team
