The anticipated salary range for this role is between $115,000.00 and $205,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated senior Azure Data Engineer to join our Risk Technology Team. The role will be responsible for developing, deploying solutions for risk, regulatory, compliance projects on Azure platform and be at the forefront of on-prem to cloud migration initiative.
The Azure Cloud Engineer strategizes, designs, develops and work with a team of dynamic and passionate data engineers to deliver automated cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions. The incumbent will play a key role in supporting the growth and scale of our Azure cloud-based technology infrastructure. This role is also responsible for complex interface process development, troubleshooting issues, supporting weekend maintenance and production support.

As an Azure Databricks Architect, responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of the Azure Databricks platform.
- Provide technical expertise to deploy applications on the platform, and work with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure the platform meets their requirements.

Ability to recreate existing legacy application logic and functionality into Azure Databricks/Data Lake, SQL Database and SQL Datawarehouse environment.
