Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines that facilitate the collection, storage, and analysis of large datasets. You will work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure that our data infrastructure meets the needs of the organization while supporting advanced analytics initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain data models, ensuring data quality and integrity across various systems.
- Optimize existing ETL processes using tools such as Informatica and Hadoop for improved performance.
- Work with cloud platforms like AWS to deploy and manage data solutions effectively.
- Utilize SQL for querying databases and performing complex data transformations.
- Implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data integration between systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of data services.
- Stay updated with industry trends in big data technologies and best practices.
Skills
- Proficiency in Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Apache Hive, and related frameworks.
- Strong experience with SQL for database management and querying.
- Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS for deploying scalable solutions.
- Knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica for efficient data processing workflows.
- Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and design principles.
- Experience with Linked Data principles is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in problem-solving.

Pay: $110,490.00 - $119,918.00 per year
