Works with architects, developers, and analysts, as well as non-technical end-users, to design and engineer solutions associated with operational data. Works with team members to understand business requirements that drive solution analyses and designs. Assists with the build of those solutions. Designs frameworks to load and transform raw source data into enhanced data assets. Codes data ingestion, transformation, and delivery programs and logic.
Develop code to encode the aforementioned business logic as part of the ETL process
- Perform unit testing on developed code
- Deploy code to testing environments
- Assist with end-to-end testing
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related field
- 3-5 years of experience as a developer
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with the enterprise data platform preferred
- Problem solving, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
- Experience in Healthcare or Health Insurance Industry
- Experience with application development tools, business processes, software development life cycle used by Highmark enterprise
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise with Google Cloud Platform
- 3-5 years of experience in Databricks technology and be experienced in working with Databricks notebooks, clusters, and jobs. They should be able to optimize and troubleshoot Databricks workflows.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
