Job Title: Software Asset Manager
Location: Overland Park, KS (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Global Software Assets: Oversee software compliance, monitor standards, and optimize licenses across all global locations.
- Evaluate and Recommend: Analyze software requests, ensuring the best-fit license options based on trends and corporate standards.
- Optimize and Reclaim Licenses: Identify unused licenses, optimizing software spend and reducing waste.
- Utilize Automation Tools: Work with tools to streamline software data collection and provide more targeted reporting.
- Audit and Compliance Support: Be the go-to for external software audit prep, vendor management, and compliance assessments.
- Maintain Software Asset Database: Keep software entitlements and allocations up-to-date, ensuring a clean, current database of contract details and usage data.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 5+ years in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, or a related field.
- Certifications: SAM, ITAM, ITIL, ITSM (preferred, not required).
- Technical Skills:
- Software: Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, ServiceNow (Asset & SAM Pro modules)
- Asset Management: Strong understanding of license compliance and optimization best practices.
- Data and Analytical Skills: Ability to gather and analyze software usage trends to make strategic recommendations.
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions.
- Familiarity with procurement, audit processes, and contract renewals.
Education:
- Higher education preferred, but we're most interested in experience and expertise!
