Your Function:
This role is to manage a DLL Sales Team that supports a Financial Services Sales Team at a Major Technology Company in the US.
As the Sales Manager you will be responsible for strategic development and commercial direction a Major Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Strategic Accounts Sales team and the Channel/Development teams in the US. Your primary responsibilities will include leading a sales team by defining and implementing territory plans, market strategies and strategic targets. You will successfully manage the commercial activities of the group.
You will also be responsible for working with the OEM Financial Services AE’s (non-DLL team) on active sales campaigns for new major accounts and more complex deals.
This role can be best described as a player-coach position which requires a very dynamic and organized individual. You are a leader who can quickly pivot from working on sales campaigns to managing and supporting individual members.
You will partner closely with the assigned OEM Financial Services’ market segment with the goal of identifying each prospective customer needs and matching DLL’s capabilities to meet those requirements. You should be highly independent, self-motivated and solutions driven.
You will report to the US Tech Solutions Country Sales Manager.

Day to Day
- Manage and support the named account sales team of 3+ members that focuses primarily on operational/sales support functions for existing OEM customers.
- Manage and support the Channel/Dev sales team of 2+ members that focuses primarily on channel/dev sales functions for new and existing OEM customers.
- Management duties will also encompass HR responsibilities (Performance plans, PTO, timecards, compensation, budgets, etc.)
- Define and implement a sales strategy, plan and targets, within boundaries of OEM program, in order to give direction to and control over sales and business relationship activities.
- Develop territory plan, identify top opportunities with OEMs Strategic accounts and act on, or actively pursue, sales opportunities through close collaboration with OEM Financial Services
- Support the team by identifying market trends, portfolio developments & sales opportunities, in cooperation with internal/external stakeholders, in order to assure alignment with market demands.
- Encourage a culture of inclusivity during proactive commercial activities that will lead to increased business opportunities
- Develop KPI-s, control cycle and procedures for performance monitoring against plan for the sales team.
- Structure and negotiate complex big deals, deviating from program agreement, integrating legal, fiscal and credit risk aspects.
- Partner with internal teams including credit, legal, and business support to create synergy and collaboration between teams
- Engagement with the DLL stakeholders and Sales teams on both tactical and strategic initiatives
- Monitor and improve customer/partner satisfaction
- Provide coaching to the Members including active management of pipeline reviews and activity management
- Attract, hire, and manage the right talent to achieve our lofty ambitions

Essentials
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 7 years working experience in a matrix setting
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial management experience is preferred
- Experience in managing long, complicated sales processes and negotiating operating/program agreements
- Ability to influence management decisions
- Experience communicating complex information to internal and external stakeholders
- Major Accounts, Middle Ticket, or Enterprise Sales experience preferred
- Experience leading a team of professionals
- Excellent influencing, persuasion, and collaboration skills on all levels within the organization
- Ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines

Applicable pay range
$130,085.47 - $195,128.20 (This role is eligible for sales commissions which increase the target earnings beyond the listed pay range)
DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.
This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
