ATI is seeking to hire an Engineer I, Operations to support the Specialty Materials business unit. This position will be based in Monroe, NC.
As an Engineer I, Operations you will drive best practices in business principles across ATI working with the following areas of the business: Mechanical Engineering, Equipment Design, Capital Investments, and General Manufacturing.
Other Responsibilities:
- Develop mechanical and/or electrical designs to support the business.
- Generate supporting models, drawings, and other documentation to define a design.
- Lead and/or provide support in the execution of Capital and Major Maintenance Programs.
- Lead and/or provide support in the execution of general manufacturing improvements.
- Ability to comprehend detailed construction and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to develop the scope, schedule, budget and benefits of a project.
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organization and drive collaboration across all Levels of the Business

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
- Adequate experience showcasing an ability towards the design of mechanical engineering.
- SolidWorks CSWP.
- Interest to grow and learn in Controls and Automation.
