RESPONSIBILITIES
With our consumer at the heart your key focus will be
- Procurement Leader for Capital, Engineering, and MRO categories within North America, responsible for savings, cash, supply security, and sustainability. Strong partner with Global Capital Procurement and Manufacturing leadership within the region
- Team leader responsible for goal setting, employee performance, recruiting and talent development, and executive stakeholder engagement for categories under responsibility.
- Functional expert who leverages category expertise, influencing, and collaboration skills to become a trusted business partner with key cross-functional partners in Finance, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Maintenance within the region to deliver savings goals and working capital improvements.
- Leads strategic supplier engagements within the portfolio and responsible for supplier segmentation and supplier relationship management strategy development.
- Creates structure and process through ambiguity to ensure agility and performance delivery through times of change, while elevating performance of his/her team through coaching, directing, and performance management.
- Utilizes strategic sourcing methodology to lead the cross-functional development of category strategies, negotiation plans, and business continuity plans to create competitive advantage for Bacardi.
- Collaborates with other Bacardi stakeholders and departments to create synergies to drive optimal value for the organization through category innovation, supplier performance management, and monthly/quarterly financial forecasts.
- Proactively works with suppliers to ensure the delivery of continuous improvement and supply continuity plans which ultimately leads to a competitive advantage for Bacardi.
- Represents North America in the development of Global Capital, Engineering, and MRO category strategies and serves as the single point of contact for all Capital and MRO related items within the region,
- Works closely with Supply Chain Leadership across multiple production facilities and point of escalation for any major quality or supply chain issues within the Capital, Engineering, and MRO portfolio.
- Manages two direct reports with responsibility for performance management, coaching, capability development, and succession planning.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The skills and experience needed to create your legacy
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering
- Master’s Degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
- Experience in mentoring, recruiting, and project leadership required, team management experience preferred.
- Experience in category strategy, sourcing strategy, and/or 7-step sourcing strategy development required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Procurement with at least 3+ years in Capital or MRO Procurement
- Experienced in contract negotiations, including development of negotiating plans and strategies, driving process efficiencies, project management, and executing Master Services Agreements, required.
- Ability to demonstrate proven results in delivering cost savings, cash, and service improvements, required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using market intelligence or service benchmarking tools, preferred.
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) and Food & Beverage experience, preferred.
- Experience with eSourcing tools and SAP.
- Excellent PC skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
