NVIDIA is widely considered to be an authority in autonomous drive technology employing some of the most innovative engineers and technologists. We are looking for a creative and experienced Technical Program Manager to help us bring NVIDIA's safe autonomous vehicle technology out to the world. Your role will involve overseeing safety engineering tasks throughout the specification, analysis, development, and testing stages. You will work with hardworking and dedicated safety and SW engineering development teams to integrate their work into our autonomous DRIVE products, while achieving or exceeding all relevant NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines. You'll find the work is exciting, fun, and meaningful!
What You'll Be Doing:
Drive and supervise safety engineering activities for NVIDIA DRIVE products (e.g. requirements, architecture, test, reviews)
Manage risks and resolve issues impacting scope, schedule, and quality.
Assist in improving processes and procedures within the team. Help streamline day-to-day operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define project scope and coordinate the development and management of project roadmaps, schedules, achievements, and interdependencies within a large organization.
What We Need to See:
BS or higher in Computer Science, Robotics (or equivalent experience)
8+ years recent industry and Program/Project Management experience driving the planning and execution of software engineering projects, and releasing commercial products.
You have a proven record of leading and successfully delivering scalable programs and projects, process improvements.
Shown ability to evaluate and drive adoption of new and improved process workflows in scalable organizations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ways to Stand Out from the crowd:
Experience in effectively leading global projects across time zones.
Background with Jira and/or JAMA, to the point that you can comfortably mentor an engineering team how to use these tools.
Familiarity with safety and systems engineering
Experience in system integration and testing
Familiarity with safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, UL4600, ISO21448,..)
The base salary range is 156,000 USD - 299,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
