Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines that support our analytics and business intelligence initiatives. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data infrastructure is robust, scalable, and efficient. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering principles and experience with various data technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines using tools such as Apache Hive, Talend, or Informatica.
- Develop and maintain data models to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand data needs.
- Optimize existing data processes for performance and reliability.
- Work with cloud technologies such as Azure Data Lake to manage large datasets.
- Implement RESTful APIs for seamless data access and integration.
- Conduct model training using machine learning techniques to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Utilize Hadoop for big data processing tasks.
- Write efficient Shell Scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role within the field of data management.
- Strong proficiency in Apache Hive, Talend, Informatica, Azure Data Lake, RESTful APIs, and Hadoop.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java for building data applications.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and methodologies for deriving insights from complex datasets.
- Knowledge of model training techniques is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Pay: $66.54 - $71.03 per hour
