We are looking for a bright, focused, analytical and motivated person to take full responsibility for monitoring supply chain and CMs management.
What you'll be doing:
You will act as the critical link within Operations to several Planning Teams and Business Units to set priorities and product supply strategies.
You will manage operations supply dedication for multiple board product families, which NVIDIA will rely on to fulfill customer and revenue commitments.
Develop an optimized production schedule considering lot-sizing, priorities, and constraints for multiple manufacturers in Israel and the Far East.
There may be capacity, materials, and production issues that prevent satisfying all demand. You will be responsible for determining tradeoff options and working with internal partners to develop the optimal plan execution.
Supervise and review NPI activities and transition to MP manufacturing mode.
Oversee the transition plan of product revisions based on customer qualification schedules and supply availability, working with engineering teams to implement at the contract manufacturers.
NVIDIA strives for continuous improvement with partners. You will provide suggestions to the management team of NVIDIA and its subcontractors on how to achieve higher performance levels on Key Performance Indexes: committed shipment hit rate, cycle time, and production line efficiency.
What we need to see:
B.Sc. in Industrial and Management Engineering or equivalent experience
5+ years of solid experience in managing suppliers
Direct manufacturing experience in optical/PCBA/electronics assembly in high volume, high mix environment
Requires strong hands-on interaction with production floor including monitoring and troubleshooting job scheduling with restricted capacity, Product schedule monitoring, progress reporting and sophisticated analysis of issues and concerns, ensuring yields, scrap and completions are accounted for and documented
The position requires experience in working with supervisors, managers, engineers, and other functions with the goal of improving throughput at bottleneck equipment, production planning and scheduling, NPI, shop floor supervision and project management
Must have strong experience and understanding of key operations functions, skills in interaction with R&D and process engineering, ability to rapidly establish root cause for output issues and address
Fluent in both oral and written English, be able to communicate in English with multiple nationalities on daily basis. NVIDIA is a global multi-cultural company with conference calls across different time zones required
Languages: English - mandatory, good writing and verbal skills.
