Configuration Management and Model-Based Systems Engineer
The Opportunity: As a CM on our team, you have the chance to work with model-based systems to support our client's Digital Engineering mission. Your technical expertise will be vital as you consult with the government on the weapons ecosystem and Open System Architecture design or integration approaches for new weapon concepts. You will develop digital models, engineering plans, and reports as needed to support this development and provide system engineering expertise.

You Have: - 8+ years of experience with Configuration Management for DoD systems
- Experience providing configuration documentation and troubleshooting issues with the configuration management process for model management
- Experience with MBSE tools and processes to create and manage tailored MBSE artifacts that capture analysis and the resulting engineering decisions, and trades made during acquisition and development
- Experience with the system engineering life cycle, including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment for major DoD weapon systems
- Experience conducting model-based performance simulations to determine the impact of requirements changes on system performance or behaviors
- Experience with MBSE tools, including MagicDraw or Cameo, Sparx Enterprise Architect, IBM Rhapsody, Teamcenter, MATLAB, and Simulink, and the practical application of SyML, UML, and UAF
- Knowledge of WOSA design principles and technologies, DoD architecture standards and framework, and Agile systems engineering methods and tools
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary, dynamic team environment, including internal staff, external contractors, and government clients
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
Nice If You Have: - Knowledge of using system models during government engineering reviews
- Knowledge of other system engineering disciplines, including configuration management, risk management, cybersecurity, and cyber certification processes
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, including C++, Java, or Python
- Knowledge of Agile Project Management
- Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
- OCSMP Fundamental Certification
- INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
