Summary:
As a Mechanical Engineer I, you will play a key role in supporting the design, development, testing, and production of dynamometers. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to learn, grow, and contribute to challenging engineering projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the mechanical integrity, performance, and cost-effectiveness of our products.
Key responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems for dynamometers using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

Support the Engineering Department in creating technical drawings, product specifications, and assembly instructions.

Conduct performance analyses and simulations to ensure product functionality, durability, and reliability.

Participate in prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting, providing technical support during manufacturing.

Collaborate with the production team to address design modifications, production issues, and quality control processes.

Assist in preparing technical documentation, reports, and product manuals.

Perform calculations for stress analysis, thermal loads, and other mechanical factors.

Stay updated on the latest industry trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques to improve product designs.

Support cost estimation and material selection for new projects.

Participate in design reviews and provide input for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

0-3 years of experience in mechanical design or manufacturing, preferably in capital goods or heavy machinery.

Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
Preferred Knowledge / Skills:

Basic understanding of finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).

Familiarity with dynamometers or test equipment.
- Experience with prototyping and hands-on manufacturing.

Basic knowledge of electrical systems and mechatronics.

Familiarity with PLC programming and control systems is an advantage.

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to mechanical systems.
