Functions • To undertake training and lectures within the In-House Training School covering both basic and advanced levels in all NDT disciplines to ASNT/PCN
• To undertake training in Manual Handling, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (radioactive materials) and Rope Access, where applicable
• To learn, qualify and be able to carry out a full range of NDT & ANDT inspection techniques on components, pipework and structural assemblies in order to establish acceptability to specifications.
• To learn, qualify and be able to establish the most effective NDT & ANDT techniques on components requiring inspection.
• Evaluate results of the tests in accordance with applicable specification
• Produce clear and concise reports detailing the methods used for the inspection.
• To liaise with qualified technician, supervisor and/or manager on any aspects of work you may be unsure about prior to undertaking the work.
• Carry out work in accordance with Oceaneering operating procedures and statutory/client specifications and requirements, where applicable
Qualifications REQUIRED
- Secondary education in English, Maths and Science e.g. GCSE or equivalent (P).
