Job Title - Field Service Chemist
Location - Sattahip, Thailand
Update -Role Summary:
Carrying out field service for Oil and Water analysis in onshore/ offshore
Essential Responsibilities:-
• Completion of daily, weekly and monthly routine sampling, analysis and reporting as per platform procedures.
• Demonstrate compliance to all test methods, procedures and quality systems essential criteria essential for best practices.
• Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and safe/ suitable for use.
• Delivery of agreed analysis to timescales and cost to enable fulfilment of contractual KPI's and maximise profitability.
• Identify and implement improvements to current laboratory operations in order to maximise equipment availability, ensure technical standards are maintained and improved thus ensuring profitability.
• Manage chemical treatment program according to key performance index.
• Responsible on chemical inventory management
• Responsible on chemical QC test
• Responsible on onshore lab test, cold finger, pour point, API, viscosity, solid etc
• Responsible on supply tank management, inspection, turn around time, etc
• Responsible on preparing equipment and consumable for site visit
• Report function to onshore for further recommendation
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:-
• Degree in chemical sciences or another scientific discipline
• Knowledge of carrying out Oil in Water analysis at an offshore installation
Desired Characteristics:
-Previous relevant experience working 0-2 years. Fresh Grad can be considered
