We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager to develop and deliver emerging continuous improvement initiatives within the wind energy industry. As the Program Manager for Emerging Continuous Improvement Projects, you will have an important role in enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing processes, minimizing operational impact, and creating a culture of continuous improvement across our wind energy projects. If you have an interest in renewable energy, a solid background in project management, and a proven history of implementing effective continuous improvement strategies, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and sustainability of the wind industry.
Responsibilities:
• Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy and roadmap on emerging cases for the wind energy projects, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Project Management: Plan, implement, and oversee emerging continuous improvement projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable outcomes. Track timelines and stakeholder expectations. Provide regular forecasting, budget and other status reports to leadership and other key members of management.
• Communication: Ensure constant communication between global and regional stakeholders to ensure information and data are efficiently communicated. Drive escalations when delays or project financial impacts are at risk.
• Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement within wind energy projects, such as construction, operation, maintenance, and supply chain. Implement methodologies and tools to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and enhance efficiency.
• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to project performance, operational metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, project managers, and executives to deliver continuous improvement initiatives. Promote a collaborative and practical approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Best Practices Sharing: Promote knowledge sharing and learning across wind energy projects by identifying and disseminating best practices, lessons learned and completed project stories. Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with continuous improvement projects. Develop contingency plans and implement effective risk management strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project benefit.
• Industry Benchmarking: Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and benchmarks related to continuous improvement in the wind energy sector. Incorporate industry best practices and innovative approaches into project strategies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business or combination of academic and relevant work experience in wind industry preferred.
• 3 - 5 years of experience as project manager, project lead, or other management experience, preferably in a related service, industrial or manufacturing setting. Demonstrated ability to build and support a motivated team / operation.
• Proven history of ensuring safe work in industrial settings.
• General technical background with experience in continuous improvement projects.
• Experience with data analysis to influence business decisions.
• Demonstrated completed projects in understanding commercial terms, and negotiation strategy, balancing business profitability and customer needs.
• Good leadership skills; demonstrated ability in coaching, mentoring, motivating and developing employees to achieve a highly aligned, motivated and engaged team. Converts strategy into action-oriented objectives and communicates the direction with motivation.
• Proven experience working in cross-functional environment.
• Effective change and conflict management. Proven decision-making ability with balanced risk taking. Applies expertise to get results leveraging group interaction and areas of specialty.
• Highly motivated with demonstrated accountability and ownership. Functions effectively in a time-sensitive setting in environments of rapid change and conflicting demands. Enjoys multi-tasking. Demonstrates a sense of urgency in meeting commitments.
• Demonstrated continuous improvement and quality methodology skills. Effective issue resolution and structured problem-solving methodology. Recommends and drives improvements in existing products / services to better meet customer needs.
• Good English communications skills (verbal, active listening, written, meeting management, presentation).
• Good PC computer skills (MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint) required
• Comprehensive technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems to develop repairs
• Able to evaluate sets of data to build a strategy and sell that strategy to management.
• Experienced with customer interaction and business development.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

• Valid driver's license, passport and ability to travel as needed to meet business needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
