Responsibilities: Management Reporting: - Develop management reporting capabilities at the complex including developing a fit for purpose standardized reporting package utilizing Anaplan and Power BI.
- Align on a suite of reports for the complex that mirror the reporting at a corporate level
- Improve linkages also ensure one source of truth and to avoid duplication of data entry efforts across the teams
- Run the flash process at an overall complex level - Obtain inputs from the Hydrocarbon team, the Business analysis team. Turnaround team and the Capital team to provide a single consolidated view of complex results using the MI Package that will be designed and developed
- Coordinate the monthly estimate process including developing standardized templates to clearly explain business drivers behind changes in estimates. Enable tracking of the changes vs. prior estimates and be able to articulate the message to the SLT
- Focal point for pulling together the quarterly stewardship package at the complex - coordinate the agenda and details with the SLT
Finance support for CP initiatives- Focal point on Support for CRB (Contract review board) discussions
- Financial analysis on supply chain related programs including buy vs. lease initiatives focused on ensuring optimal value for the complex.
- Run analysis on spend item by major categories - Understand indices used for cost changes and evaluate opportunities for optimization.
- Piggy bank savings target - Work with individual finance teams to generate ideas for savings
Special projects- Overall project liaison from PAMC finance team for Project Quantum Leap ensuring that decisions are being aligned with complex finance needs
- Finance support for Aromatics, C3 Splitter project, Cogen and Port Arthur buildings construction as the activity and investments on these start ramping up in 2024
- PAMC Focal point for all audit and compliance related activities at the site
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required.
- A minimum of 15 years in Finance, Accounting, or General Management position with strong knowledge of financial systems including SAP and the Microsoft suite of programs
- Preference to candidates who have experience at the Port Arthur Refinery
