About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in Snowflake and DBT (Data Build Tool) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data pipelines, ensuring the seamless integration and availability of high-quality data for analytics and decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions.

Data Architecture & Development:

Design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures using Snowflake.

Build and manage data models using DBT to enable robust reporting and analytics.

Data Integration & Transformation:

Develop ETL/ELT processes to ingest and transform data from various sources into Snowflake.

Ensure data integrity, quality, and security throughout the data lifecycle.

Collaboration & Problem-Solving:

Partner with analytics, engineering, and product teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

Performance Optimization:
-
Monitor and enhance the performance of queries and data models within Snowflake.

Implement best practices for data governance and documentation.

Data Quality & Compliance:

Establish and maintain data quality checks and validation frameworks.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and data security regulations.
What You'll Need to Have for the Role:

3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.

Strong proficiency in Snowflake (data warehouse concepts, optimization, and administration).

Expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling.

Proficient in SQL and experience with complex query writing and optimization.

Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks (e.g., Airflow, Matillion).

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, cloud environments, and data modeling.

Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with programming languages like Python or Java for data workflows.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Knowledge of modern BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
Pay Range:
$85,300.00-$127,900.00 Annual
