Job Description: Manufacturing Engineer
Responsible for the manufacturing process to manufacture and assembly the products per the design while continually improving the quality of the product and efficiency of the manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Support manufacturing to ensure that products are manufactured per the design.
- Recommend engineering and manufacturing changes to the design when quality issues occur.
- Support manufacturing for continuous improvement activities, new product introductions, and testing.
- Create work instructions to manufacture the products per the design.
- Design the tooling and fixtures needed to manufacture and test the product.
- Provide reports on tooling and facility requirements needed.
- Change and create documentation for manufacturing processes.
- Quality assurance and control.
- Prepare and conduct testing programs for the validation of the product.
- In process and final inspections.
- Bill of materials – maintaining and restructuring.
- Work closing with design and quality engineering to make sure the product is to meet the requirements as built.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Recommend changes to the design to reduce the cost of manufacturing.
- Review the preliminary designs for manufacturability.
- Completion of miscellaneous duties and projects as directed by your supervisor/manager/team leader.
- Apply and utilize manufacturing best practices for efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent in experience.
- Knowledge of the wastewater treatment industry and the construction of wastewater treatment equipment including piping and pumping systems is a plus.
- Experience using 3D CAD software especially SolidWorks is preferred.
- Experience using MS Office.
- Hands on to troubleshoot and repair any tooling/equipment/product.

Pay: $57,491.00 - $65,466.00 per year
