Role Summary:
As a propulsion controls engineer you will work on embedded software for the vehicle torque path and associated features. You will work closely with systems engineers and test engineers across the full life cycle of feature development.
Responsibilities:
- Design and test software for propulsion controls
- Work with systems engineers to define features

Work with integration engineers to thoroughly test code before deployment

Contribute to automated test framework for Unit, SIL, HIL, and Cloud

Develop simulation models uses for software in the loop testing of propulsion controls
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree (Masters Preferred) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, or related fields

1-2 years controls experience

Hands on-engineering experience

Proficient in software development processes and relevant tools

Proficiency with C/C++ and Python
Pay Disclosure:
Salary Range for Irvine, California Based Applicants: $107,000 - $133,700 per year (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
