Job Summary
Fishbeck is actively seeking a mid-level Water Treatment Design Engineer. This position requires self-motivation, commitment to high-quality work performance, excellent planning, organization, and communication skills, and the ability to work with other staff in a project team environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordination with clients to obtain background and operating information.
- Data evaluation, identification of appropriate treatment technologies, development of basis of design and hydraulic calculations, and preparation of engineering reports.
- Development of design drawings and specifications and obtaining construction permits from regulatory agencies.
- Interaction with project teams in a multi-disciplinary and multi-office environment.
- Project coordination during the construction phase.
- Participation in marketing efforts with client visits and support in writing proposals and fee development.
Minimum Physical Requirements
Exposed to occasional lifting and carrying. Will have normal office working conditions and be required to sit and use a computer. Capable of traveling to and maneuvering around project sites for attending client and project meetings and site observations. Able to use various technical equipment for communication and documentation. Visual acuity necessary to perform responsibilities.

Desired Skills
- Registered Professional Engineer.
- 5+ years of drinking water process design, treatment technology selection, and project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Familiarity with CAD software. BIM and Revit capability are a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
