Responsibilities / Tasks
- Responsible for providing sales estimates, troubleshooting equipment installed base, and assisting technical sales and service for the homogenizer market
- Assist sales channels as technical product expert to promote sales in customer visits
- Conduct and facilitate customer training to improve customer knowledge of the equipment
- Develop trusted relationships with customers by supporting them on troubleshooting visits
- Perform market research studies on equipment competitiveness
- Manage all phases of machines sales and order execution process, including quotation, procurement, fabrication, delivery, and commissioning
- Work collaboratively across departments, including sales, service, aftermarket spare parts, commercial, and logistics, to develop effective customer solutions and drive customer satisfaction
- Act as liaison between North American sales team and European manufacturing plant
- Match customer requirements with product offerings to develop custom equipment solutions
- Specify technical requirements of GEA-built equipment with factory
- Size and source domestically purchased auxiliary components, such as control panels, pumps, heat exchangers, motors, etc.
- Review technical and engineering documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Utilize SAP and equipment database software to efficiently gather data and execute business processes
Your Profile / Qualifications
Bachelors Degreen in Project Management, Engineering or related field
