Key Responsibilities

Engineering: - Process Engineer

Prepares a variety of complex engineering deliverables, including process/mass balance calculations, design criteria/basis of design memoranda, process flow diagrams, P&IDs, tradeoff studies, and master planning studies

· Typically supports multiple projects simultaneously with complex technical challenges

· Thorough understanding process equipment and systems used in food processing facilities

· Serves as a technical specialist with knowledge and skillset providing guidance to project teams in conventional and/or advanced food processing systems

· Develops recommendations for appropriate treatment processes, equipment and/or materials selection

· Oversees collection, assimilation, analysis, and management of data for process design work

· Prepares complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles

· Manages assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements

· Independently applies advanced engineering techniques and analysis problems and methods

· Interface with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations to resolve equipment availability issues.

What are we looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's is preferred

Extensive experience in engineering roles, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibility and technical leadership.

In-depth expertise in a specific engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.) and a broad understanding of interdisciplinary engineering concepts.

Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.

Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.

Strong project management skills and proficiency in project management tools.

Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging engineering trends and technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $92,119.00 - $175,000.00 per year
